Disability and Compensation (Highest Value)
VA Disability Compensation
Monthly tax-free payments for any condition connected to your service. 100% rating = $3,737/month (2024). 70% rating = $1,716/month. If you have any service-connected condition and haven't filed a claim, file today at va.gov. Back pay is calculated from your filing date.
Individual Unemployability (IU)
If your service-connected disability prevents you from working, you may receive 100% compensation rate even if your rating is lower. Apply at va.gov.
Aid and Attendance

Education Benefits

VA Home Loan Guaranty

Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) Grant
Up to $109,986 to adapt a home for veterans with specific service-connected disabilities. Apply at va.gov.
HUD-VASH (Veteran Supportive Housing)
Section 8 vouchers combined with VA support services for homeless veterans. Contact your local VA Medical Center.
Healthcare and Other Benefits
VA Healthcare

Caregiver Support Program
