Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use the matching tool, we collect the answers you provide: your state, income range, household size, employment status, and what kind of help you're looking for.

We do not collect your name, Social Security number, bank details, or any government ID. We never ask for these — if any site claiming to be GrantLantern asks for them, it isn't us.

If you create an account, we store your email address and profile data (your matching answers) securely via Supabase with row-level security. Your email is used only for account access and, if you opt in, deadline reminders.

How we use it

Third-party services

GrantLantern uses a small number of third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — secure database for account and saved results data
• Vercel — hosting and page delivery
• Stripe — payment processing for GrantLantern+ (we never see your full card number)
• Vercel Analytics — anonymous page visit counts, no personal data

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising tracking.

Your rights

You can use the matching tool without creating an account — nothing is stored. If you create an account, you can delete it at any time by emailing support@grantlantern.org with the subject "Delete my account." We'll remove your data within 7 days.
