Continued subsidized child care for families transitioning off CalWORKs cash aid. Provides continuity of care while parents maintain employment. Administered through contracted Alternative Payment agencies.

Eligibility requirements

  • Families who have left CalWORKs cash assistance within the past 24 months and are employed or in approved activities
  • Children must be under 13 (or under 19 if disabled)
  • Income limit applies.
