Florida Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)

Free home energy-efficiency upgrades for income-qualified households, including insulation, HVAC repairs, air sealing, and other improvements. Reduces long-term utility bills and improves home safety. Work performed at no cost to homeowner or renter.

Eligibility requirements

  • Income at or below 200% FPL
  • Must be a homeowner or have landlord permission
  • Priority given to elderly (60+), households with young children, and persons with disabilities
  • Applied for through local Community Action Agencies.
