Medicaid waiver program providing home and community-based services to Florida adults and children with developmental disabilities as an alternative to institutionalization. Eligibility requirements

  • ✓Must have a qualifying developmental disability (intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Prader-Willi syndrome, or Down syndrome) diagnosed before age 18
  • ✓Must be enrolled in Florida Medicaid
  • ✓Income limits vary
  • ✓Waitlist exists; apply early through the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (apdcares.org).
