Eligibility requirements

  • PA resident for 12 months
  • Enrolled half-time or more at approved PA institution
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • US citizen or eligible non-citizen

PA State Grant covers vocational/trade schools which many state grants don't — CDL programs, cosmetology, culinary, and IT bootcamps often qualify. Apply by May 1 for following year.
