Workforce Pell Grant — Launching July 2026 (Not Yet Open)

Coming July 2026 — not yet available. Will extend Pell Grant eligibility to short-term workforce training programs (8–15 weeks, 150–599 clock hours) in high-demand, high-wage fields. Eligible low-income adults will receive up to $4,310/year for programs as short as 8 weeks. Check back after July 2026 to apply.

Eligibility requirements

  • Launching July 2026 — not currently accepting applications
  • Will require demonstrated financial need via FAFSA
  • Must enroll in an eligible short-term workforce program (8–15 weeks) at an accredited institution
  • Program must lead to a recognized credential in a high-demand occupation
