Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

Administered by USDA Food and Nutrition Service · fns.usda.gov

Delivers monthly USDA food packages directly to low-income seniors aged 60+. Packages include shelf-stable items: canned fruits and vegetables, grains, dairy, and protein. No EBT card required — food comes to you.

Eligibility requirements

  • Age 60 or older
  • Income at or below 130% of federal poverty level
  • Available in 27+ states, DC, and 2 tribal organizations
Insider tip

CSFP has income limits nearly identical to SNAP, but many seniors who already get SNAP don't know they can stack CSFP on top. If you're 60+ on SNAP, you likely qualify for CSFP as well. Check availability in your state at the FNS site.
