Home Care for the Elderly (HCE)

Provides a monthly cash subsidy paid directly to caregivers of Floridians aged 60+ to help cover rent, housing, and medical services as an alternative to nursing home care.

Eligibility requirements

  • Florida resident
  • Care recipient aged 60+
  • Care recipient income below program limit
  • Approved adult caregiver living with care recipient
  • Care recipient would need nursing home without this support
