Florida KidCare - Children Health Insurance Program

Low-cost or free health insurance for uninsured children in Florida who do not qualify for Medicaid. Covers doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, dental, vision, and mental health services. Monthly premiums are modest or waived.

Eligibility requirements

  • Children up to age 19 not eligible for full Medicaid
  • Household income between 133% and 200% FPL
  • Must be a Florida resident
  • U.S
  • citizen or eligible immigrant
  • Children must be uninsured for 90 days prior to enrollment (some exceptions apply).
